It is just an another average novel that you have dropped at some point. A dense protagonist surrounded by women, he has to save the world but,... Fill the blanks and write your novel. His 'but' is that he has to be the second runner in everything to push the real hero forward. That reason became stale and repetitive, and after some time his reason to be the second seat should have disappeared but it did not. Author tried to make MC irritable then immediately drop it. Him being second ranker, him being around student council hottie, him being around princess, him having a genius student at his beck and call does not arouse interest in others somehow.There are not many unique things to the story. An academy, empty power ups, some oohs and aahs and that's all really.

it isn't very clear. I think author is confused about which direction he wants to build this story.Spoilerat one point he acts arrogant in front of his class because he wants to follow the plot but the next moment he wants to "conqueror" the heroine which is going against the plot simultaneously.
