Chapter 2232: How long will this take?
Chapter 2232: How long will this take?
It turned out that whatever system was used to create this world and this screen was quite intuitive.
It didn’t take long for me to figure out how to properly interact with this world with just the screen alone.
However, it didn’t take long for me to realize something else.
"How long will I have to be here?"
After all, this world was currently in the stone age and it seemed like it was going on in real time.
So if I had to watch them in real time while providing guidance, it really was hard to guess how long I would be here. Even if I had a longer lifespan because of how much I had changed, it wasn’t as if I would be able to live that long.
Not to mention that I didn’t have that much time to begin with.
I wanted to pass this trial as soon as possible so I could go back and help my people.
Only it didn’t seem like there was anything that I could do about this.
The ability to control time was one that only gods possessed and it wasn’t as if all gods had this ability. Only those gods that were above the others would be able to do something like that.
"No, there should be something similar already placed in this world. After all, it isn’t as if they would wait forever to see how this world would develop."
The problem was that I had no idea how to access it.
Turning around to look at the other things in the room, I wondered if there was something here that would allow me to manipulate the time in this world. After all, the screen was how I interacted with the world, so there should be something else here for that.
It was just that there wasn’t anything that was obviously used for that.
"If only there was a clock or something."
But if there was, then it would have been too obvious.
So the only thing that I could do was look around the room and inject divine energy into all of the things in hopes that it would do something.
Only I found that there wasn’t a single thing that happened.
It seemed like everything inside of this room rejected the divine energy that I provided, as if none of it was supposed to accept divine energy. It was completely unlike the desk, even though they all seemed to be made from the same material.
When nothing seemed to work, I went back to the desk itself and looked at the screen once more.
Only there was nothing there that seemed to be for controlling time.
"Is this really all that’s here?"
No matter how I looked at it, there should be something that was here for this.
But then I slowly turned back to the desk.
Since the desk was the only thing that I could inject my divine energy into and interact with, did that mean that the desk was also the way to control time?
It was just that I had already looked over it and didn’t find anything related to it.
"It changed when I focused my divine energy into it, so does that mean it would change if I were to do the same?"
While I was a bit doubtful of this, it really was the only choice that I had right now.
Only the moment that I actually did this, there was a wry smile that appeared on my face. It had actually changed the moment that I injected my divine energy into this desk.
"So I can even change the UI of this thing? Does that mean that I’m the game master? Well, it would make sense since I’m taking the place of a god that would be managing this world."
What had appeared was a clock at the very top with some numbers beside it.
Though in terms of controlling this civilization, these numbers seemed to be a bit small.
"Two times, five times, and ten times...What are the units though? If it’s in hours, then it really is a bit too slow. It’ll take a long time for me to reach the level that I want if it’s in hours..."
Well, there really was no point in thinking too much about it right now since I didn’t know how fast it would go. The only thing that I could do now was test this to see how fast this would change the world.
Before pressing the button, I made sure to focus on the people of this world to see how they would change once I sped it up.
It turned out that it wasn’t by hours, but rather by days.
While it wasn’t the fastest setting, it did at least let me see the effects of the things that I did.
In just a few minutes, several months had already passed in this world.
The flames that were caused by the bolt of lightning that I sent down had already been spread to the different tribes.
It wasn’t as if the tribes of this primitive world didn’t have any interaction with each other.
When the tribe that obtained the flames met with the other tribes, they tried to keep the flames hidden. It was just that it wasn’t something that was that easy to hide since it gave off light and heat.
In this primitive world, it really was hard to keep either of those hidden.
"It seems like they’re not all that primitive, they do seem to have the concept of bargaining and trading with each other."
Though it seemed like that wasn’t the only way that they obtained the flames.
There were other tribes that stole the flame from the first tribe that obtained the flames.
In short, they were the same as the humans that I was familiar with.
However, it wasn’t as if I was going to stop them.
"Good and evil are both needed in the world for proper development."
